Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley, one of the richest and most famous Reggae Singers was born on February 26, 1976 in Falmouth Jamaica. In the film that became a cult classic, Shottas in which he was a co-star with Wyclef. Ky-Mani got signed to Shang Records in 1996 where the first album he put out was Like Father Like Son. He has also released a number of singles, such as Judge Not With Patra and Dear Dad (which reached the top of the British Reggae Charts) and the Who the Cap Fit Remix, and Sensimelia. Each of them helped contribute to Ky's growing popularity among the younger generation of reggae artists. In 1997 Ky-Mani joined forces along with Praswell (Fugees) to record Avenue an acclaimed cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley was a guest at Midem (international music festival) when it was held in Miami in the very first time. Marley performed in the Cameo Theatre which was live broadcasted to 36 other countries.
