Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thay fighter. She is currently a fighter in the UFC Flyweight division. She's older than fellow UFC fighter and former UFC Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko first began combat sports as a Muay Thai kickboxer. Shevchenko made her debut in the IFMA World Championship Tournament of 2003. Shevchenko defeated Suzane McKell in the finals by unanimous verdict. Antonina was awarded a Silver Medal in 2007 and a Bronze Medal in 2008 and a gold medal in the year 2011, and the IFMA Amateure Muay Thai World Champion. Antonia was a professional who started her career as a professional in 2003, was crowned in 2012 and 2016 the Lion Fight Lightweight Championships. In 2016, the WMC World Championships were held in 2016, and she took home the 2016 IFMA Amateur Thailand World Champion. Antonina's final fight was with Isa Tidblad-Keskikangas in the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She was able to win by a unanimous vote. Antonina shevchenko won her debut professional MMA fight in 2002, against Anara bayanova at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan. She won via second-round TKO, and then won 2 additional fights at WXF X-Impact World Championships to achieve a record of 3-0. Shevchenko was absent from MMA in order to concentrate on boxing. She returned to fight Anissa Haddaoui at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko beat Anissa with a unanimous vote, and then she defeated Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. In 2018, she resigned from the tournament and started competing in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina used superior striking to TKO Nievera by knees to her body while in the clinch. Antonina accepted the UFC invitation following her win. Antonina Shevchenko made her debut in UFC at The TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modafferi in a split-decision fight following her first fight via unanimous decision. Antonina rebounded from her loss to knock out Lucie Pudilova by choking her back in a rear-naked submission in the second round at UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned the extra fight of the night for this fight. Shevchenko went 2-2 in her subsequent three bouts. She defeated Ariane Lipski and lost to Katlyn Chokagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina was recently defeated by Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos-Walker.
